  • Why No-Code Tripled My Value as a Designer

«This talk highlights the increasing importance of No-Code and how it becomes a powerful asset for designers in validating and iterating product ideas. I’ll introduce various tools, share practical workflows, insights gained over five years, address limitations, and outline key considerations for anyone interested in this field.

I firmly believe the designer’s role is evolving towards greater interdisciplinarity. This shift allows us not only to shape ideas through design but also to actively bring products to life by directly influencing their development – even hitting the publish button ourselves 😉»

Alexander Zyuzkevich is a Product Designer, No-Code enthusiast, and GenAI nerd 👋🙂. Passionate about quickly validating product ideas and helping teams build impactful products that create real value for users and businesses. Co-founder of WeSlam, a boutique product agency based in Zürich.

  • Designing an AR Viewer to Navigate Changing Geospatial Information Needs

In this talk, we report on the results of a project conducted in collaboration with OpenGIS.ch and supported by the Swiss Innovation Agency Innosuisse. It concerns the QField app – an award-winning mobile tool to collect, manage, and edit the geographically referenced information on the go tailored to the needs of the GIS (Geographic Information System) fieldwork, such as urban planning, infrastructure work, forestry, geology, and ecology.

We identified 2D and 3D data needs regarding interactivity in the field to inform the design and implementation of the geospatial AR viewer for QField to improve spatial understanding and decision-making in situ.
